 I just downloaded Winamp. I got it because I've watched my friend use it, it seemed user-friendly, customizable, and she highly recommended it. When I downloaded it, I excitedly began looking through skins. The problem is that every skin I find has the same problems: The controls are difficult to see (and it is therefore difficult to navigate), I can't adjust the size of the window to my preference, but what irritates me the most is that each individual element (the dashboard, the equalizer, the playlist) is SEPARATE! Why? And is there ANY skin that doesn't have any of these problems? Or is there some kind of option that I just haven't been able to find yet?

 hi, im new to the skin scene iv made a few classic (Winamp 2.x) skins with skinner 2.1 but in the submission details it says my skins are ineligible because i know they were made using only a skin program but i really want to share them what should i do submit them or find another site?(2 replies | reply to this message)

Hi!
I just joined to 1001skins.com to became a member. Then I immediately submitted a skin. Through the submitting process there was no asking about a thumbnail or a larger image file of the skin, as at Winamp.com. But, when I'm browsing in the categories, I saw screenshots from the skins. I don't know how happens that, but anyway, I submitted my skin.
- Can I send to 1001skins.com a thumbnail and a larger image of my skin, (for displaying in the list) or
- 1001skins.com take some screenshot about the skins or

 I am working on my last skin that I will be submitting along with the help of peacemaker. It is loosely tied to the last release from us and will feature the color tone of my first release.
I am now a UI Designer for a large company and it seems like work at home ... lol. As well, as kids and life I no longer have time to commit even in hobby.

Whenever i try to use the gracenotes playlist generator winamp crashes. This only occurs whenever i use the Musicshow skin. All other skins allow me to use the playlist generator without any issues. Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem. Even if i switch to another skin to generate the playlist winamp will crash when i try to go back to Musicshow skin. Beyond this issue music show works perfectly can someone create an update to correct it or something? (0 replies | reply to this message)

I have to ask. I know very little about computers. And getting technical just confuses me more.
So Im wondering if there is anyone here that makes Winamp Skins for someone if they ask?
I saw that there is a thing to download to make your own. I did that, but it is asking me to download Bitmap? And the instructions arent clear. I cant figure out how to get a image (pic) to the place to make the skin.
Do people do it for others. If so would someone make one for me from pics I have? Thanks
